From the Raw Material to the Mixture

Since 1938 Sant’ Eustachio Il Caffè has preserved the tradition of good coffee
and takes care of its quality.

The Blend is the result of ongoing research that combines coffee varieties from different origins, highlighting the qualities of each through careful roasting for each type.

In our blend we only use premium 100% Arabica coffees, selected in their countries of origin and imported directly. In particular, we favor fair trade coffee from small producer cooperatives in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Brazil, the Galapagos, and Santa Elena Island. Once in Italy, we roast the coffee over wood as they once did, delicately so as not to damage the product.

Arabica grows between 1,000 and 2,000 metres above sea level and, unlike Robusta, is a very delicate plant that requires constant attention.

The high quality of the coffee varieties chosen guarantees a low caffeine content: only 1.18%! Caffeine is in fact responsible for the most common ailments: heartburn, headaches or insomnia, all easily avoidable by consuming high-quality coffee.

According to the World Health Organization, a healthy adult can consume 400mg of caffeine every day, equivalent to about 10 cups of espresso!

In fact, a cup of Sant’Eustachio coffee contains only 40mg of caffeine.

Coffee has numerous scientifically proven benefits. It is in fact a natural antidepressant and has many antioxidant properties useful for the well-being of the skin and the body. Furthermore, it has been shown that regular consumption of good quality coffee prevents the risk of cancer and protects the liver.
